About Us
The Food Engineering Department in Trakya University has been established in the year 2008, and offers education towards Bachelor of Science (B.S), Master of Science (M.S.) and Doctor of Philosophy degrees. The B.S. Program constitutes of 4 academic years (8 semesters). Academic staff is formed of 2 Professors, 2 Associate Professors, 4 Assistant Professors, 4 Research Assistants and 1 Research Associate. The first two years of the B.S. Program is formed of courses in basic sciences and engineering, while the last two years are concentrated on the courses in food science, engineering and technology. The language of education is Turkish. The Food Engineering Department organizes social activities under various clubs and societies besides education and research activities.
